July 29 jailbreak: Escaped inmates gun down two brothers

In Abdul Khel village in DI Khan, two brothers were shot dead during a volleyball match on Wednesday, a Nawab police station official said.

According to the official, six culprits, including two escaped inmates from DI Khan Central Jail, came and shot Abdul Ali and Atlas Khan. The two brothers died on the spot. Abdul and Atlas, residents of Abdul Khel, were watching the match when the incident took place.

Abdul Ghafar, the father of the deceased, registered an FIR against Muhammad Younus, Muhammad Nawaz, Hazrat Bilal, Nawaz Khan and Dil Nawaz at the Nawab police station. Muhammad Yunas and Muhammad Nawaz were among those who escaped when DI Khan prison was stormed by militants. They are wanted by the police in several criminal cases including robbery.
